My friends Dan and Alicia welcomed a baby boy into their lives last October, and I was so excited to finally meet him! He’s such a beautiful, sweet & smiley baby..but I’ll let the photos speak for themselves 
I think Mason was especially happy about his special visitor, his abuelita traveled all the way from Mexico City to stay with them!

It’s been a few months since I first showed you this darling, Emma Rose, and she is growing up fast! We had a quick little session in Encinitas for her 6 month photos. Little Emma was such a trooper despite our very chilly weather and suffering from some teething pains 
This was her fist time on the swing, and I’m pretty certain it has become a new favorite playground activity for her. Who doesn’t love the swings?

Boy oh boy, wait….it might be a girl! Any bets? I am now 32 weeks along (that’s 8 months for those of you not quick on preggo math) and since pregnancy is actually 10 months, we are are counting down just 2 months to the due date of April 18th! Yikes! Enough of the numbers…
I am posting this to let you know I will be separating my work from my play My portraits, weddings, travel, food/recipes, and art will all still be here, www.maggiemarsek.com. If you are interested in following the updates, news and growth of our little Bump, it will all be on our personal site we set up for our Wedding: www.robandmaggie.com
That site will get an update & facelift eventually but at least for now, our little Bump has special place of his or her own

2012 brought us some good times, here are just some of the highlights.
Primarily a work trip for Rob but I got to tag along to Ireland in May
In August we found out we will be adding to our awesome little family!!!
In fall we flew to Philly for one of my best friend’s Weddings and a had quick visit with my brother in New York (during Hurricane Sandy coincidentally)
And to round out the year Maggie Marsek Photography is now on Facebook!

Baby Photography: Beau is 1 year!

Do you remember this little heart breaker? Here he is at 1 year old! I think the pictures of this little cutie speak for themselves…
This is one of my favorites
Here’s little a peek into Beau’s room which Mindy carefully created with the colors and fabrics she envisioned for her little boy. She painted the walls and painted a secondhand crib to co-ordinate. The little felt birdies above Beau’s crib are hand sewn by her as well, I love the little eyelash detail. I was blown away with the rocker-it belonged to Mindy’s husband Chip’s Grandfather..how sweet! Mindy refinished the wood and reupholstered it -masterfully in my opinion
