Baby Photography: Sam

I met Danielle and only got to know her on just a few occasions before she moved away to Colorado. Fast forward several months to her new life in the Rocky Mountain State and she gets married; fast forward a few more and she has a baby boy!

A few months later, I was thrilled to receive an email from her saying that she and her baby would be back in Southern California for a quick visit and that she would love a photo session with me.

Here is her baby Samuel Wyatt Sea Welch. I call him Sam Sea and he was such a trooper! Despite inevitable schedule changes along with jet lag and my big camera in his face, he was so easy going and happy to be on the beach with his Mommy. He also was on the move, just too busy to sit still. He was very strong for his age and was eager to show off. Lay him on his back and he rolled over with aplomb onto his belly . Once on his belly, he had more to see so pushed up, proudly, and quickly scooted away – out of frame

Thank you Danielle, it was great to catch up with you and meet sweet Sam. I’ll be looking forward to your next visit here, or our next visit to Colorado!
